Turn clockwise rotation to the end (turn a circle wind up the clock) then counter-clockwise rotate to the time you need.
i.e. to set a 13-minutes timer , turn a full circle ,then counter-clockwise back to 13, the timer will then start counting down. When 13 minutes run up , it will ring.
